In Bangkok, Thailand, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the world's longest serving monarch, checked out of the hospital wearing a pink blazer. The King is going to celebrate is 80th birthday soon and if very respected in Thailand. This fashion statement has been one of many made recently by the King. He has made many appearances in many different colored blazers. The pink blazers, and others, have started a trend throughout the country. Men everywhere in Bangkok are wearing bright colors such as pink and sea green. The Thais care deeply for their King and wear what he is wearing to bring him luck due to his recent health problems. Imagine the impact it would have it President Bush wore a pink blazer.
